Speakers and Subjects Still Sought At the 2008 Screenwriting Expo
Prior
Screenwriting Expo registrants and potential registrants have strongly
urged us in survey responses to make major changes in the
program. We hope you can help us meet their expressed
needs, and we would greatly appreciate proposals from you for sessions
that meet these expressed wishes of our potential 2008 registrants.
We Will Have Room, Until Shortly Before The Program Starts, For:
– sessions taught by, interviews with, or panels of recently-produced screenwriters and prominent screenwriters;
– sessions taught by, interviews with, or panels of currenty working screenwriting agents;
– sessions taught by, interviews with, or panels of currently working movie producers and development executives;
– panels with currently working movie and TV writers, showrunners, producers, and development executives.
– studio executives, of course.
We May Also Have Space Left For Highly Qualified Speakers On:
– seminars on new media (Internet, small screens);
– sessions on what is marketable/selling and how to market;
– completely new seminar subject matter;
– more advanced seminar topics, building upon what was taught in prior years.
We are eager to receive any session proposals from you, but especially
on the topics above. A committee will select courses from
proposals submitted via the web address below.
To Submit Course Proposals: http://screenwritingexpo.com/propose.html
We have created a fast, easy online procedure for sending proposals for
new sessions. Please use (or have your assistant use) only this
approach to submit or suggest proposed sessions. Please do
not email proposals or ideas to staff. Proposed courses will be
evaluated by a committee, which will consider only the sessions
submitted through the online system. |
