Quarterfinalists-Revised List*
*
Due to a web programming error, a number of scripts from the
two
prior contests was placed into the online contest folder with scripts
submitted to the 2008 contest. Before this error was noticed,
these scripts were inadvertently assigned to and read by our judges,
and several of them were judged to merit quarterfinal or better status.
We initially issued a list of quarterfinalists which
inadvertently included
these several highly-rated scripts from prior Expo contests
before
that error was noticed. This new list corrects that error.
Scripts that were not entered into the 2008 contest have been
removed
from the official quarterfinal list immediately below. Some
additional scripts from the 2008 contest have been added to this
quarterfinalist list.
However, the
scripts removed from this list were deemed to indeed merit quarterfinal
status. Therefore, we have posted them in a separate list at
the
bottom of this page. They were rated by judges to be
of at
least equal quality to the quarterfinalists, and should be regarded as
having equal merit. We apologize for the mistake, and for any
embarrassment caused to their writers.

Judged
To Merit Quarterfinal Status But Removed From Quarterfinal List Due To
Our Error*
Please
see the note above. These scripts from two prior Expo
Screenplay
Competitions were inadvertently read and rated by our judges
as
meriting at least quarterfinal status. They have been removed
from the list above because they were not entered into this year's
contest, as explained above. They are listed here because
judges found them to merit
quarterfinal status.
