Short Screenplay Prize: $1,000 Plus Duke City Shootout

The management of the Duke city Shootout will choose one short script winner, who will receive a $1,000 prize and a spot in the Duke City Shootout.   He/she is flown to Albuquerque and given a crew, high definition camera, equipment, post- production facilities, the option to direct, and a professional mentor to help through the process of turning his/her script into a movie.

Two $1,000 Television Script Prizes

Prizes of $1,000 each will be offered for the best hour-long and best half-hour television scripts. Writers will also be given creative and career counseling and access to television agents and managers.
